Visual Letter-Sound Drill Work Activities
We will be completing some visual letter sound drill work together--your child won't need anything for this activity. We call this VISUAL drill work because your child will be using their eyes to look at each letter presented on the screen and then say the sound that each letter makes. This drill helps your child become automatic with their letter and sound fluency, which assists them when decoding or reading words. Drill Work activities will progressively become harder. If your child has any trouble with Drill Work #1, do not progress to Drill Work #2, instead, continue to practice the #1 activities until your child is fluent with those letters and sounds. For fluent students, always have them begin with Drill Work #1 and then progress through all levels of drill work. Simply click the link below to find our visual drill work video(s)-have FUN!
